2021 Seneca Youth Lacrosse Registration is now Open!!!
The fastest game on two feet...the Seneca Lacrosse tradition continues on...
Please read this whole section before continuing on with the registration process...
A couple of important points
Username/Password - The username and password that you used last year should still be used when registering again. That will also save you from entering your information from last year since it's stored in the website. If you have an unpaid balance from last season you will need to bring that balance current before your child can participate in 2021.
We have created a new payment schedule this year in case the season is interrupted by any resurgence of the COVID pandemic. There will be no up-front payment requirement at the time of registration. Then at the end of January we must collect the deposit to cover initial fees for insurance and practice expenses, which should start those mid-to-late February.
Once done answering all of the questions during the registration process - the system will automatically take you to the credit card payment form. If you are not paying at that time, you can close the window or register another player. We will send out reminder as to when to pay certain fees at certain times. You may choose to pay the deposit immediately or your whole fee, but nothing is required until Jan 31st. You will receive an email back to the email address on file with confirmation of a successful registration.
Registration fees listed below include requires US Lacrosse insurance ($30 fee), this is needed before any practices start. We will also need some new practice equipment and goalie protective equipment this year. The balance will be due in full at the end of February in order to finalize everything. The season will kick-off games around the 3rd weekend of March.
Lastly, there is one issue we are still tracking and working on to the best of our ability…access to Seneca High School’s athletic fields. Spring 2020 was initially postponed and then cancelled due to the high school district shutting down all access to the high school. This is actually still the case now; youth winter programs are not using Seneca facilities for any programs that are still having a season. We do expect a spring season, the lacrosse league we belong to is also tracking this issue, as we are not the only program completely dependent on our sending district’s high school. With that said, if we don’t get access to Seneca High School, we may look to other fields in the area, which may come at additional costs…therefore final registration fees could increase to cover field rental. However, for now, our registration fees are at the same level as they have been for at least the 3rd year in row now (not including uniform costs).
Grades & Registration Fees
Girls/Boys Travel: 3rd - 8th Grade $195.
Girls/Boys Limited Travel: 1st & 2nd Grade $145.
Girls/Boys Instructional: K & PreK $60.
There is a $25 dollar sibling discount for each additional sibling, not applicable to Instructional level players.
Uniforms are NOT part of the registration this year…most returning players can use their uniform from the 2020 season. If you require a new uniform, information will be sent out on how/where to order. The average price for a full uniform kit about $50, which includes a reversible.
Refund of Fees
If you decide not to play after you have paid, a full refund is available if requested before January 31, 2021. If you request a refund after that date, you can still receive a refund minus expenses incurred for your child i.e.US Lacrosse membership, program expenses, and any other equipment costs.
